Bev’s Beholden, Day 20

Remember when I was posting about all the funny nicknames in and around Mayberry? (if not, I suggest you read here… because this shiz is funny) And then how I said that I was sure that Smoke, MamaG, and other Mayberrians would probably start submitting tons more? Well, what I never told you was that I arrived at Uncle Bart’s house the next day to a full 8×11 copy paper full of even more nicknames from the Mayberry metropolitan area.

And it was gold. I mean, GOLD. I held onto it waiting for the right moment to post the list of nicknames (and the conversation I overheard between Uncle Bart and Woz when he gave me said list). And then? I lost it.

I. Lost. It.

I literally had this gold nugget in the exact same place in my living room for like two years and then I think I cleaned (for once) and now I can’t find the list. I thought for sure I probably had taken a picture of it, but no dice.

So, this thankfulness post? It’s to Uncle Bart for making me another list. He doesn’t know it yet, but let’s just pre-thank him, OK, guys?

P.S.- This post was precipitated by seeing ‘Bull’ in the grocery store with MamaG. You know Bull and Pork- the brothers; cousins of Poop and Cry (also brothers).
